About Bailey Rae

Bailey Rae is an Oklahoma singer/songwriter with roots planted deep in country music and the western way of life. At an early age, she started her collection of classic country vinyl and was gifted many country albums belonging to her great-great grandmother. Listening to those legendary voices like Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris and Don Williams, Bailey Rae quickly discovered a love for traditional country music which continues to be an influence in her voice and musical style today.

Since the age of thirteen, Bailey Rae has been performing on stages from Texas to Tennessee. In 2020, she had the opportunity to share her talent with millions of fans on the biggest stage of her life – NBC’s The Voice, where she had the honor of becoming the first country artist on Team Legend. Bailey Rae quickly caught the attention of country music fans from across the nation and finished The Voice Season 19 as a Top 9 Semi-Finalist out of 44,000 auditions for the season

Bailey Rae has since traveled thousands of miles playing honky tonks, music venues, events and festivals. With her pure country voice and distinctive western style, she has consistently stayed true to her roots with her brand of country music. Bailey Rae has shared the stage with her Voice Coach, John Legend and has opened for country music legends, Vince Gill, TG Sheppard, Whispering Bill Anderson, Jeannie C Riley, Linda Davis, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Doug Stone, Darryl Worley, David Frizzell and Texas Country Artists, Flatland Calvary, Curtis Grimes, Chris Colston, Josh Ward, Jake Worthington and many others.

Releasing her first country music single at age seventeen, “Never Been This Lonely” continues to be one of her most streamed singles today. Bailey Rae has since released several singles to country radio and streaming platforms, along with writing and co-writing many others yet to be released.

Bailey Rae is an award-winning artist – 2022 Josie Music Awards Stage Fashion Trailblazer Award Nominee, 2020-2021 Ambassador for the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, 2020 Nominee and 2021 Winner of the Texas Country Music Awards “Young Artist of the Year” and 2021 Texas Country Showdown Winner. Along with pursuing a music career of her own, Bailey Rae shares her love for music with students of Shawnda Rains Studios in Denison, TX where she is guitar, ukulele and vocal coach and Creative Director of the studio performance troupes.
